About Me
I have always loved taking pictures. I got my first SLR camera, a Pentax K1000, when I was 15 years old. It was easy to spot me at family gatherings, parties and school dances. I was always the one behind the lens—arranging poses, adjusting the lights, studying the way shadows affected a scene and capturing priceless candid moments. I loved that camera and still own it today.
After learning the basics of photography in high school, I continued to hone my skills through years of trial and error. I knew then that my affair with photography would someday become more than a hobby. My professional career began a few decades ago when I was first asked to do weddings and graduation celebrations for friends.
Although I am a graduate of the prestigious New York Institute of Photography, I still consider myself to be a student of the craft. It’s important to me to try to learn some new way of doing things every day. I am always fascinated when I discover a new way of achieving a client’s desired results and fearless when it comes to experimentation. It’s my way of keeping things fresh!
I believe you’ll agree my style is light and fun and a bit unconventional. I guarantee clients will enjoy their session and come away with pictures that express what makes them unique. My ultimate goal in working with anyone is to reflect what he or she wants the world to see in them. As a photographer, that is my definition of success.
All sessions are done on location, in your chosen element. I find that my subjects are more relaxed in their own environment, leading to images that show their truest personality. That is what makes the difference between an average snapshot and one that will become a classic memory.
I strive to produce beautiful images…images that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
Thanks for stopping by.
